From Japanese restaurants to Hampstead Heath secrets London Transport Museum invites you to take a closer look at Golders Green. The area is known by many for its diverse communities and proximity to Hampstead Garden Suburb. But what does it mean to the people that live there? Let our local residents guide you around some of the area's best local sites that they believe shape this suburb's unique identity.
Choose from three different walks:
Pink Walk
In need of some fresh air and green space? Passing through the Heath Extension and Golders Hill Park, the pink walk is perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city and getting in touch with the area's rural roots.

Orange Walk
Fancy a bite to eat? The orange walk will take you past some of Golders Green's diverse communities, with plenty of places to stop and sample some of the local cuisine.

Blue Walk
Feeling reflective? The blue walk features many of the area's religious buildings and offer an introduction to the community's many faiths with lots of places to rest, pause and reflect.

All walks last approximately one hour 30 minutes unless elsewise specified.
Please read before you book:
• There is a max of 20 people per walk. If you book a slot and then cannot make it, please call to cancel or re-arrange.
• Please meet your guides at Golders Green underground station 10 minutes before the walk begins. They will be wearing green 'Suburbia' t-shirts
• Tickets will be sent to the address stated when you book. Please bring these to the walk with you.
• Please let us know at the point of booking if there is anyway we can ensure our walks meet your accessibility needs.
• Bookings less than 24 hours before the walk start time can be made by phone only.

Museum on the move
London Transport Museum is working with communities across London, exploring how transport affects the lives of everyone. You can find us out and about at local festivals and events, in community centres and running a busy programme of activities and exhibitions at the Museum.
