London Transport Museum Depot, Acton Town
As part of National Science and Engineering Week, The London Transport Museum is offering 5 of your Key Stage 3 and 4 students the unique chance to design solutions to some of the issues facing London's transport system going into the 21st Century. They will investigate the issues, consult with the experts and then pitch their ideas to our very own Museum Dragon's Den in an exciting day of events at London Transport Museum Depot, Acton Town, to win prizes and prestige.
Students will work in project teams to conduct enquiries, solve practical engineering problems, and put forward their ideas of a practical solution to a real problem. They will be supported by practicing engineers and transport planners from a range of sectors. They will also enhance important transferable skills such as team working and communication.
We are looking for 5 of your crack engineering and applied science students to take part in this event which is developed and delivered by London Transport Museum, in partnership with the London Engineering Project.
